Be sure to allow enough clearance. You can tell by examining the threads in the chamfer area of the chaser.
Aug 16, 2020· Ive never seen anything like it ...certainly nothing remotely like the sharpening fixtures for the radial Coventry dieheads.....as mentioned,it may be for the Landis type heap which use an grooved chaser .....Ive got a big Landis head and tons of dies,all made by QGRT&G.....but only way Ive ever figured to set them was a sample thread,and fiddling the dies to touch it..Landis dies are easy ...
