Apr 23, 2020· The 30 inch bush hog will easily take down pine saplings and other brush up to 1 inch or so diameter. The most versatile single gravely would be one of the L-8 or C-8 family, which have a two speed "Swiftmatic" transmission as well as the normal gravely High and Low PTO speeds. The "L" models would have been made mid 50's to mid 60's I think.

Unfortunately Gravely stopped making them last year[ after 70 years !] You may still be able to find a new tractor at some Gravely dealerships, or you might find a good used Gravely, if you look around the internet.
