I hope you dont just stop taking the methadone you will be really sick and it is dangerous. I too am on methadone and it has saved my life and helped me live some kind of life. Still not the best I can do!! My doc weened me off methadone over a 5 month period my highest dose was 120mg for about 8 yrs. It helped alot for my back pain.
