Dec 23, 2010· Why not use a 12 VDC diamond sharpener. The grinder runs about $150, but you would need a diamond wheel too. Then you setup a receiver type mount on the mill and that allows you to drop in the grinder reference to the mill and sharpen the saw on the mill.

Files will not work on carbide teeth, or the first sharpening on chrome. Get a file and try it on some teeth. Make sure you go square to the saw and don't make an arc.
