Feb 12, 2017· Guys, if you are downloading for GTA: IV Complete Edition this won't work since it now logs in into Rockstar Games launcher. The game won't start if you launch it from Steam, and if you do the fix of launch it via GTAIV.exe you'll end up with lots of errors and glitches like corrupted saves, the drunken camera effect, the font glitches and such.
You know, the measures RockStar used to prevent/screw with piracy in GTAIV were pretty ingenious when you think about it. I use razor`s crack and worked,just make sure to open the game with LaunchGTAIV.exe instead of GTAIV.exe,because the Launch one has the anti-piracy removed.

TL;DR - to fix GTA IV stutters if your GPU supports Vulkan try DXVK method, if it doesn't support Vulkan then go to 4-step DxWrapper method (should help in all other cases). Do not combine methods below, use only one of them! If you are still not satisfied with gameplay then you may have to read the rest of the article and/or downgrade to version 1.0.4.0
